Our World Renowned Events
Our events may not all be so highly acclaimed as WOMAD - arguably the best World Music festival in the whole world - but we do have some absolute crackers on the schedule.

WOMAD - for those who aren't yet aware - is a festival for the entire family and is just a longish morning's walk from town in mid-summer.

TETBURY
Our town in the southern Cotswolds is a gem of beautiful historic architecture spanning many centuries - coupled to a fascinating long history and significant military connections with WW1 and WW2.

MALMESBURY
England's first capital - this famous, attractive and vibrant little town is packed with major historic significance dating back more than 1000yrs.
WESTONBIRT ARBORETUM
This magnificent collection of mature trees from around the world also plays host to an eclectic collection of events throughout the calendar year.

CIRENCESTER
Bonfire and fireworks to celebrate the exploits of Guy Fawkes in 1605.
The sparks begin to fly at 6pm for 7pm at Saint Aldhelms Mead Park.

CHAVANAGE HOUSE
Malmesbury's Charlton Park is host to this CountryFILE event of truly magical proportions - offering so much to see, do and TV presenters to meet.

HIGHGROVE GARDENS
It's open house weekend when we can meet artists in their studios and buy direct. There is a wide mix of artists to meet too - inc. potters, painters, jewellers and ironworkers.

WHAT WE HAVE - IN TOWN
Like Malmesbury, Tetbury has an eclectic collection of independent and specialist retailers. Supporting them there are excellent eateries and other things to see and enjoy.
COTSWOLD WATER PARK
The tabletop craft fair - by local artists and crafters - is back to its regular monthly show at the Malmesbury Town Hall.

Late Night Christmas Shopping is back in Malmesbury and aren't we delighted! For those who haven't been, this is a must event - for both buyers and stall holders!

Tetbury is such an attractive Cotswold town on its own - but dressed with Christmas lights it becomes almost magical.
The switch on is at 5pm.

An ancient tradition in this old Cotswold woollen town is the race up Gumstool Hill - by our young, fit and oddly dressed woolsack carrying town's folk.
