Farmers do their utmost best to produce food for people and a living for themselves. Here the council have backed farmers in efforts to make this farm more profitable - keeping it in business to serve.

Life for our farmers is currently bad enough - but gov't has made their lives worse with tax changes on inheritance tax. This appears as a move to switch farm ownership to a mix of Big Biz, rewilding and solar.

There seems to be an agenda to reduce food growing in the UK - by rewilding and solar farms - and Jeremy Clarkson sees through it. The council's plan doesn't make sense to him - and he's by far not alone!

Vertical farming is being hailed as agriculture for the future - but is it? It looks interesting but does it hold water? It's easy to forget the simple way of life is nearly always the best. But some have plans for us!
